Jnani Robert Adams Quotes – 5/6/2016

Jnani Robert Adams

Sometimes we say: “Everything comes out of consciousness”. Because people expect it to come out of somewhere. But in the ultimate reality, there is nowhere for it to come out of. For it never existed to begin with. How can something come out of something that is all-pervading? In other words there is no room for it to come out of anywhere. If what we call consciousness is everywhere present, omnipresent, all-pervading, where would there be room for anything else to come out of. There is just no room for it. Consciousness can only exist as itself. And as we go further into it we find that there is no consciousness at all either.
